Jiangxi Kingan Hi-Tech Company Limited, founded in 1988, is a high-tech enterprise engaged in the research, development and production of new materials and new energy. The company is funded by the State Torch Plan.
Kingan's production part is located in Anyi County, Nanchang, occupying a total area of roughly 200,000 square meters. Its main products are zirconium salts, battery and battery material, detailed as follows: Zirconium salts: 30,000T/A in total, including 18,000 T/A of zirconium oxychloride, 2,000 T/A of zirconia, 5000 T/A of zirconium carbonate, 3000 T/A of zirconium sulfate, and 2,000 T/A of other zirconium salts.
Battery material: 2,000 T/A of spherical nickel hydroxide (cadmium-containing), 1,000 T/A of spherical nickel hydroxide(zinc-containing).
Battery: Ni-H battery 20 million per year. Ni-Cd battery and lithium battery will be available soon.
Kingan passed ISO9002 and ISO14001 certification in 1999 and 2003 respectively. 60% of its products are for export, mainly to US, Japan and EU market. Kingan is a major tax payer and one of the top ten export enterprises in Nanchang. It has been rated "AAA" by ICBC (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China) and honored "Model Enterprise" for years.
